Reference 1591 was an audacious watch that combined elegant functionality with technical innovation in the perpetual calendar, as well as a waterproof case and luminous dial. The 1591, in keeping with its sporting nature, featured a large seconds hand centrally mounted, as opposed to a smaller seconds hand which shared the subdial located at 6 o'clock, like the 1526.
